EcCare Health Centers offers Immigration Medical Examinations. These exams
are performed by our physicians (Civil Surgeons) who are approved by the United
States Citizen & Immigration Services (USCIS). Our physicians will conduct the
exam with the purpose of evaluating an individual to determine if any health
conditions or diseases exist that require treatment prior to immigration.
Before the Examination :
EcCare provides you with an
Form I-693
(Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking
Adjustment Status). An appontment must be made prior to your examination.

examination. You will be required to present a photo I.D. and your
immunization/medical record when you arive at our facility. Our physicians
will evaluate your records and will advise if additional immunizations
are needed. If you have any existing medical problems that you feel may
influence the evaluation, you will be asked to provide the contact
information of your primary care physician so we can request a copy of
your past medical records.
Examination and Testing :
The I-693 examination require our physicians to examine you for certain
physical or mental health conditions. If it is determined that you need
diagnostic tests, you may be sent to your primary care physician or
if you prefer these tests can be accomplished at our facility.
Examination and Testing :
At the completion of your exam, our Medical Staff will provide you with the
required documentation to complete your adjustment of status. This
documentation will include the Physician's medical opinion and recommendations
regarding your medical condition. This documentation should be submitted to
the consulate or USCIS for consideration.
