Immigration Medicine

EcCare Health Centers offers Immigration Medical Examinations. These exams are performed by our physicians (Civil Surgeons) who are approved by the United States Citizen & Immigration Services (USCIS). Our physicians will conduct the exam with the purpose of evaluating an individual to determine if any health conditions or diseases exist that require treatment prior to immigration.

Before the Examination :

EcCare provides you with an Form I-693 (Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment Status). An appontment must be made prior to your examination. Please contact Violet Guerrero by email or call 972-659-1234 to schedule your examination. You will be required to present a photo I.D. and your immunization/medical record when you arive at our facility. Our physicians will evaluate your records and will advise if additional immunizations are needed. If you have any existing medical problems that you feel may influence the evaluation, you will be asked to provide the contact information of your primary care physician so we can request a copy of your past medical records.

Examination and Testing :

The I-693 examination require our physicians to examine you for certain physical or mental health conditions. If it is determined that you need diagnostic tests, you may be sent to your primary care physician or if you prefer these tests can be accomplished at our facility.

Examination and Testing :

At the completion of your exam, our Medical Staff will provide you with the required documentation to complete your adjustment of status. This documentation will include the Physician's medical opinion and recommendations regarding your medical condition. This documentation should be submitted to the consulate or USCIS for consideration.
